My loss your gain!!! Very good condition....VOT - Professional vintage Altec Lansing speakers - Half price. Wife says they got to go. These are N1285-8A. They are HUGE with HORNS fastened on top. Sounds beautiful, you can hear every instrument in concert. If you love music on VINTAGE systems, this is what you need!!! These go for $2500/pr on Ebay,,,, Gotta go! Yours for only $800/pr .... $120 + shipping costs.. I also agree that you got a nice combo.. The 902-8T are good but come with loading caps,designated by the T.. If you take them out, change the diaphragm screws (Smaller) and pack the end cap with felt you will then have a pair of 902-8A's... I like those crossovers too ! The N1285's are switchable from 500-800-1200 Hz. With that combo I would run them at 1200 Hz.With 416C's,902-8A's,and the 1285's ? Great Sounding combination !
Edit: Only thing I would be concerned with is I hope he didn't cut the flares for the 18" speaker.. Hopefully it is just the mounting plate that was altered.. If so you should be able to install a new plate and be back in business with that cabinet.
well a little change here,
i pulled the back off of speaker two and it has a 515 8g. and a closer look at the hf shows it to be a 902 8 >B<. i do have a pair of 8As anyway.
guess i really wasn't looking all that close when i brought these home. but then i brought one home one day and the last, another.
so now the questian, do i go with 515s or 416s. if i go with the 416s i would need a pair. with the 515s i can get one for a little over 240$

well I ordered a 515 8g last week, arrived Saturday. this will make it a matching set. I'm kinda curious as to how different these original cabinets sound compared to the ones I built. or better yet all four at the same time. ummm well maybe outside
